# Governance Voting

## <mark style="color:orange;">Forge Finance Snapshot Community</mark>

This is a new feature that is slowly being developed over time as our community grows.  We believe that two of the most important values in Web3 are:  community & decentralization.  In our opinion, the paradigm shift from centralized systems to decentralized systems is predicated on "giving power back to the people".

For these reasons, we are developing a governance voting system within the Forge Finance project that will allow entrusted community members to vote on things such as treasury funds allocation & project developments.
