🗳️Wallets

HOT Wallets

"Hot" wallets are software-based and are always "ON". Common "HOT Wallets"

  • MetaMask (Recommended)

  • Trust Wallet

  • SafePal

  • Custodial Exchange Wallets

Remember: Not your keys, not your crypto! If you are holding your crypto on custodial exchange wallets, you do not own those assets, the exchange does!

COLD Wallets

"Cold Wallets" are hardware-based and can be disconnected, or never connected, to the internet. These wallets require some sort of physical interaction to confirm transactions and are widely considered "safer" than "HOT wallets".

Common "COLD Wallets"

  • Trezor Model T (Recommended)

  • Ledger Nano X

Remember: Keep your hardware wallets safe. Do not tell people about them. Store them in a safe/secure location, and NEVER travel with them!
