🔌Your Crypto Device(s)

The intention of this page is to help guide people who don't need ALL the information to get started, but are rather looking for the necessary precautions and steps to take to get themselves safely set up and positioned in crypto with the highest level of security.

Note: The information below is simply what we think is best given the information we have. This information alone will not fully protect you. You are responsible for your actions, so be a professional skeptic and SLOW DOWN.

Your Device(s)

In this section we will discuss the precautionary measures you could deploy to effectively protect your device(s) from a hardware/software standpoint.

When choosing a device to set up your cryptocurrency accounts/wallet(s) up on, it is important to analyze a few things before you get started. Start by asking yourself these questions:

  1. Is my device protected by a quality Security Software?

  2. Is it possible that the device I'm using has been previously compromised?

  3. Is my internet network/connection private & secure?

Our Recommendation Is To Start Fresh

  1. Purchase a BRAND NEW device (Small Laptop, Desktop PC, Tablet, Etc.) --> Be sure to purchase a NEW product from the manufacturer themselves, not on a secondary market such as Ebay, Amazon, Alibaba, or other refurbished models.

  2. During initial set up, do a "Factory Reset" on your device --> This ensures you are 100% starting from scratch

  3. Check Your Internet Connection & Settings --> Ensure your connection is secure, private, and not visible to others

  4. Upon completion of initial set up install a quality Security Software & VPN immediately --> Choose what you'd like, but our recommendation is "BitDefender Total Security"

  5. Keep this device at your home, do not travel with it & connect to random "Public" networks --> By keeping this at home and using it strictly for crypto, you significantly domesticate the risk of attacks from a network standpoint
